Parmigiano Reggiano is de Italiaanse harde kaas die we allemaal graag over onze pasta strooien. Het is genoemd naar specifieke gebieden ten westen van de rivier Reno waar de authentieke Parmigiano met een DOP-certificaat wordt geproduceerd, met alleen Italiaanse melk en volgens de traditionele kaasbereidingsprocessen. Het belangrijkste is dat de rijke, zoete en pittige smaak hem ver boven zijn klasse plaatst. Gebruik het om je pasta nog lekkerder te maken!
